Solar Landscapes

They held me down and giggled
It was over in a flash but felt like days
And how long is a day on the sun?
Sweating without mercy, light exposing every sin

They spent those evenings
grasping at bras
looking for any way out
of an innocence
___perennially protested

All quiet,
All encompassing,
All forgiving the forest loomed
___swallowed us up undigested
___raw, and weeping from every pore
It might have been Mars
It might have been death
___:it was neither
___:it was only respite
___:it was moments spent in misplaced
___ ___unknown
___ ___ ___dis
located

We always came back
always came back
___for more

And more
___there always was
___ ___Sweat
___ ___and light unbounded
